May 31 evening, Sunday. 

Dear Residents,

We have several important updates to share. Please take a few minutes to read through this entire email, as it contains information regarding building access, internet service, mail delivery, security deposits, and reimbursements.

Iowa Building Access

We will once again be providing escorted access to approved areas of the Iowa Building tomorrow from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

At this time, we do not know how much longer we will be permitted to access the building. We strongly encourage anyone who still needs to retrieve belongings to do so as soon as possible. While we will continue working with the City, Fire Department, and Building & Safety officials, we cannot guarantee future access opportunities.

Our team will be on-site throughout the day to escort residents onto the property.

Everton Internet Service

Spectrum was on-site today to evaluate the internet outage affecting the Everton Building.

We have been advised that the estimated timeframe for repairs is between tonight and 7:00 AM tomorrow morning. We are hopeful that Spectrum will be able to complete an emergency repair and restore service, but we will not know the final status until tomorrow.

We will provide an update as soon as we receive additional information.

Mail Pickup (Both Buildings)

Many residents have asked about mail delivery and mail access.

We will be organizing a mail pickup day on Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at:

3993 Iowa Avenue Sunrise Village Clubhouse (Directly across the street from URG)

This mail pickup will be available for residents of both the Iowa and Everton Buildings.

In addition, we will be contacting the USPS Postmaster tomorrow to determine what the long-term mail delivery process will be. We will provide further guidance as soon as we receive that information.

Iowa Building Security Deposit Refunds

We have begun processing move-outs for all Iowa Building units.

Our goal is to have security deposit refund checks available for pickup beginning Tuesday at 9:00 AM at:

We understand that many residents need access to these funds as quickly as possible, and our team is working diligently to process them.

Emergency Reimbursements

For residents requesting reimbursement for hotel expenses, meals, emergency necessities, or other approved expenses, please continue following the process we previously outlined:

1. Log into your tenant portal.

2. Create a work order with the subject line “Emergency Reimbursement.”

3. Upload copies or photos of all receipts and invoices.

Because of the number of reimbursement requests we are receiving, reviewing and processing them will take some time. Our goal is to have reimbursement checks available by June 5th.
